POSITION SUMMARY: (Not A Remote Position)

The Graphic Designer produces digital and print materials that promote the Company’s message and brands through high visual impact in a variety of mediums to include its websites, email campaigns, publications, packaging, advertising, exhibitions and displays.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Create proposal packages for customers with unique product selections and merchandising examples to obtain new business as requested to support sales team
  • Researches new trends in color, design, layout, patterns and products to provide marketing and product ideas based on findings
  • Works closely with the Marketing team to develop, implement and evaluate marketing initiatives
  • Designs digital marketing (i.e. website banners, e-mail campaigns, digital downloads etc.) using graphic design software
  • Designs print advertisements (magazines, postcards, large scale banners, etc.) and showroom displays
  • Edits photography for each season for use by in-house team as well as customers
  • Assists Product Development in creating original pattern designs for new products

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor of Fine Arts, Graphic Design
  • 2 years industry experience with a portfolio (submit copy with application) of relevant design work & similar product line

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Hands-on experience required with Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or CorelDraw
  • Understanding and knowledge of email marketing best practices
  • Understanding of the English language and correct grammar
  • Analytical and creative thinker with excellent time management and problem solving skills
  • Ability to successfully organize and prioritize multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Impeccable eye for detail
  • Ability to work and interact in a team oriented environment
  • Strong dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of team members, partners and co-workers
  • Able to operate independently with minimal supervision

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

  • Visual Inspection, color distinction, reading, writing and performing detailed work at close distances (i.e. computer screens),
