Whole Foods Market is Hiring a Senior Project Manager Near Austin, TX
This person will be responsible for managing the project plan, resource needs, timeline, and implementation for projects in alignment with client expectations and business needs.
Responsibilities also include overall project planning, direction, change management, delivery, and post-delivery evaluation across multiple projects.
They must organize and drive resources to achieve project objectives on time, and within scope.
This position is located in Austin, TX with a hybrid schedule working in office 3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
Uses business needs and past project experience to create full-scale plans for projects, encompassing: Project charter,Defined project scope,Deliverables,Dependencies,Schedules,Resources allocation,Support plans.
Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential issues, and devises contingency plans.
Ensures regular and ongoing communication with stakeholders, business partners, and vendors.
Tracks high-level deliverables across multiple projectsto achieve timelines and budget goals.
Cross-Functional collaboration, connecting dots between different functions of the business to identify the best solution
Preparing status reports for a variety of stakeholders ranging from the project group to WFM E-Team
Qualifications:
4 – 6 Years’ project management experience required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Knowledge of retail operations strongly preferred.
Proficient with project management software, such as Jira and Microsoft Suite, SharePoint and Smartsheet.
Project Management, PMP, certifications preferred.
Preferred Background in managing Tool Development projects
Ability to plan, estimate, organize, and monitor multiple projects and keep on track in accordance with stakeholder deadlines.
Communicates structured information in a clear, concise, and organized fashion.
Collaborates with others to achieve objectives and ensure information flow.
Effectively presents information and responds to questions, in both one-on-one situations and group meetings.
Analyzes a diverse range of complex and ambiguous problems recommending solutions in a creative and logical manner.
Identifies opportunities for process / procedural enhancements to drive efficiency and improve service levels.
