Not all heroes wear capes — but plenty of them use toilet paper
Want to challenge yourself at a high-growth startup AND make a difference in the world? Come join the revolootion!
Funny name, serious business
We make eco-friendly products and donate 50% of our profits to help build toilets for the billions of people who lack proper access. So far, we’ve contributed over $10 million AUD (roughly $7.4 million USD) to fund sanitation projects around the globe. Basically, we’re really good at doing good.
With hubs in the United States, Australia, the Philippines, China, UK, and Europe, our ambitious team of 200 work tirelessly to make the biggest possible impact for people and the planet. Over the next couple of years, we’re working to increase our annual donation tenfold and we won’t rest until everyone in the world has access to clean water and sanitation services.
Our Global Logistics team is renowned for making magic happen. And by magic, we mean delivering much needed toilet paper to the doorsteps of customers across North America, Australia, the UK and Europe. For us, it’s more than just about getting boxes from warehouse to doorstep, it’s about ensuring that we uphold our brand and values at every step - delightful, sustainable and socially responsible.
As our Supply Chain Manager (North America), you’ll report into our North America Logistics Lead and focus on partner management and process execution to keep our wheels turning and engines running as we scale and diversify. You’ll be our US Logistics go-to and partner closely with our Customer Experience, Production and B2B teams.
This roll (woop, toilet paper wordplay!) joins a larger logistics team consisting of in-market regional focused management and global supply chain operations to ensure we’re able to localise our efforts and partner management, whilst providing global oversight on improvements, processes and insights. This creates an exciting opportunity to work within a team across Australia, the Philippines, the US and Europe and makes the usual “how’s the weather” banter truly interesting.
We’re hiring for this role from anywhere in the US with an expectation that you’ll generally align to PST to enable maximum crossover with your global colleagues. Our US teams work remotely and we will soon be locking in some co-working space in Los Angeles should you prefer some in-person opportunities. Our third party logistics (3PL) warehouses are based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Reno, Nevada, and Chicago, Illinois, though we don’t have set expectations on your visits schedule.
If you were here this past month, here are a few things you might have done:
There’s nothing quite like good old, real life experience and it’d be great if you’ve been on a similar crazy scale-up growth journey and have a deep understanding of eCommerce direct-to-consumer logistics in North America.
You're a people person
You’ve found yourself thriving in the world of logistics as it provides so many opportunities to work with people. From your team, to your partners, to your customers - you’ve honed your craft in building and leveraging relationships. You pride yourself on identifying what’s important for all parties and striving to ensure it’s maintained.
You're also a numbers person
You keep your finger on the pulse of your metrics - from Customer Experience to cost - and you’re always looking to data and KPI’s to inform your decisions and build the foundations for partners to report on, track and beat their SLA’s and KPI’s.
You like to keep your hands full
If you worked at a circus, you’d be their star juggler. You’re used to keeping many balls in the air at once and you love the variety. You’re able to easily switch gears between tactical tasks and creative / strategic thinking quickly and efficiently.
You’re a big fan of change and can navigate ambiguity with ease
Scaling up, pivoting and diversifying are great buzz words, but they’re also hugely motivating for you. You’re adept at leaning on systems, processes and people to respond to (and embrace!) change.
You give a crap
Yep. We’re all here because we genuinely want to make the world a better place with our work, and we want you to want that too! You’re acutely aware of the opportunity and obligation that comes with working in the supply chain space and you’re full to the brim with ideas on how to ensure that impact is positive.
First off, there’s the feel good stuff. As a certified B Corp™, we work to make a difference every day while maintaining the highest standards of social and environmental impact. We also believe that helping to make the world a better place shouldn’t have to mean getting paid peanuts — it’s why we offer super competitive salaries, benefits like tailored learning and development opportunities, generous paid parental leave and free toilet paper (yes, you read that right).
But you don’t have to take our word for it — our employees recently gave us our sixth consecutive Culture Amp engagement score of 90 and we’ve been named one of BuiltInLA’s “100 Best Places to Work” two years in a row.
Our interview process takes roughly 3-4 weeks and is entirely virtual, with an estimated 11 hours of your time interviewing and paid project work.
Have you made it this far?
If you’re still reading, we think there’s a strong chance you might be our kind of person.
Here’s the thing, though — research suggests that 60% of women and underrepresented folks might have already talked themselves out of applying. Even if you don’t check every box above, we want to encourage you to introduce yourself. We believe a diversity of perspectives and experiences makes a team stronger — and the stronger our team, the closer we are to delivering toilets and clean water for all.
We’re excited to be partnering with supply chain and production talent experts, DSJ Global who are taking the lead on this exciting search from the United States and will be reviewing each and every one of these applications. Lucky them!
