Full time, 40 hours, Monday through Friday
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1) Operate telephone system, route calls, convey messages and provide information to callers as appropriate and as authorized.
2). Greet and direct visitors, ensure that all visitors and vendors information is collected - Issue identification badges. Update Excel visitor log
3). Maintain a current listing of all in-house patients and current employees. Insure that only authorized patient and/or business information is given to visitors and callers.
4). Performs other duties as assigned by the Administration Executive Assistant, inclusive of assisting with the Admissions and Outpatient departments. Utilizes our electronic medical record and scheduling system.
5). Assist with providing coverage for receptionist staff on an as needed basis, assuring seven day per week and holiday coverage
PREREQUISITES:
1). Knowledge of growth and development across the life span.
2). Previous switchboard experience preferred.
3). Basic computer skills, typing.
4). Ability to communicate in an efficient and pleasant manner.
5). Must be able to maintain composure under extremely busy circumstances.
