Because of our ongoing company growth, we’re looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our Corporate team in Houston, TX!

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Process payroll, including preparing, auditing, and submitting

· Assist in resolving payroll inquiries in a timely manner

· Entering data into databases and spreadsheets

· Assure compliance with garnishment notices and other employee deductions 

· Maintains employee data in the payroll system

· Calculate and process termination payments to ensure legal compliance

· Completes special projects or other duties as assigned 

Requirements

· Must have a High School Diploma

· 2-3 years of experience in a human resource or payroll role 

· Highly organized and detail-oriented

· Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Excel

· Ability to multitask in a stressful environment with specific deadlines

· Highly professional with strong business ethics and integrity

· Must complete a pre-hire background check
