• Performs preventive maintenance of steam powered kitchen equipment and or HVACR equipment.
• Completes paperwork and meets deadlines for assignments i.e. parts order, work order, and time sheets, etc.
• Maintains equipment, uniforms, and vehicle consistent with Whaley standards and a safety first mindset. 
• Communicates professionally with team members and customers regarding required repairs and status.
• Use proper tools for repair, including hand tools and power tools.
• Monitors truck stock levels to ensure correct parts and equipment are stocked onboard.

• A High School diploma or the equivalent in experience.

• "Safety First" Mindset 
• Ability to work some overnight and weekends. 
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot is a plus.
• Experience with electrical, gas, and or steam is a plus 
• Ability to thrive independently and within a teamwork environment. 
• Proper certifications or licensing as required by state. EPA Universal would be a plus 
• High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good driving record.

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. frequently lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Repeated bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing up and down ladders.
• Extensive nightly travel to work site locations with possible weekend and daily assignments.
• Exposure to hot grease from fryers.
• Occasional to frequent exertion in high temperature environment (over heated kitchens, rooftops, etc.).
