We are seeking a Project Coordinator, with at least 2 years of experience for our Buildings Division in Austin.

In this position, you will work directly with project managers, directors, and the division leader to deliver a high-quality and timely service to support their project management efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers with scheduling, organizing, and communicating multiple aspects of the project to ensure the schedule and budget are met.
  • Partner with Project Managers on project accounting questions and issues (including budget variances, questions, time/expense transfers, unbilled revenue, comments on prebilled and/or aged unbilled).
  • Assist in preparation and monitoring of project metrics.
  • Participate in project review meetings and coordinate with area accounting staff
  • Assist in training Project Managers on BST and other project related accounting software.
  • Assist in creating training and flowchart documents to systemize routine tasks
  • Work with Directors and Division Leader to develop and update financial forecasting of opportunities, sales, and revenue.
  • Perform general administrative duties related to projects and pursuits
  • Assist clients with inquiries (invoicing questions, Certificate of Insurance requests, and other billing related documents).
  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical, financial, problem solving and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize and multi-task
  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Background in accounting a plus
  • Working knowledge of BST10 a plus

The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate a computer, keyboard and mouse. Use of a telephone headset will allow for virtual communication with team members through Zoom and/or Microsoft Teams. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to sit for prolonged periods, use hands/fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms, speak and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
