WESTSIDE PET HOSPITAL is Hiring a Veterinary Client Service Representative Near Whiskeytown, CA

Westside Pet Hospital is a busy three doctor small/exotic/companion animal practice, committed to exceptional, compassionate patient and client care. We are looking for a Client Service Representative to join our team of dedicated, hard-working, animal-loving people. Our crew is supportive, creative, capable, inclusive, and genuinely enjoy working together. This is a full time position. At least one year of previous veterinary experience is a plus but not required, we will train the right fit for our team! Must be a good communicator, self-starter, and team-oriented, with a positive attitude.

The Client Service Representative role includes but is not limited to:

-Maintaining a professional, helpful and cheerful attitude and providing excellent client service at all times

-Handling multiple tasks at once with speed and accuracy in a fast paced environment with changing priorities

-Using a Practice Management System and other computer programs such as Word and Excel

-Routine clerical duties such as answering multi-line phone system, filing, scanning, and faxing

-Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence

-Scheduling and confirming appointments

-Greeting and checking in clients and preparing patient files

-Checking out clients, presenting and explaining fees. Discussing payment options and processing payments

-Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general non-medical pet care such as heartworm prevention, housebreaking, flea & tick control, etc.

-Maintaining a neat, clean lobby and reception desk area, which includes stocking and cleaning as needed.

This position requires the ability to lift at least 40# as well as frequent bending, twisting, stretching, and standing throughout the day.
