Weston is looking for a motivated individual to join our Information Technology (IT) team that designs critical informationsystems, manages assets, builds solutions, and implements new software that support core Corporate and Client IT functions, and assure their high availability, stability, integrity, security, and efficient operation. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all h applications, hardware,software and associated operating systems. The candidate applies proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identity, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investment and provide technical leadership across the organization, from strategic decision making down to the project planning level. The candidate participates in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure system provisioning and maintenance that is consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Years of Experience: 3 Years of Systems Administrator Experience
Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administrationor equivalent experience required
Primary Responsibilities:
•Serve as lead administrator for the Security and Information Event Management (SIEM) system
•Maintain backup software, infrastructure, and services
•Manage printer software and solutions throughout the company
•Support network optimization appliances and services
•Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed
•Perform routine/scheduled updates and audits of the systems, including all backups
•Procedures and Policy documentation
•Work collaboratively with and under the supervision of a Senior Team Member/Project Manager
Qualifications:
•Strong knowledge ofbackup procedures, policies, software, and infrastructure
•Experience with security auditing, reporting and best practices
•Knowledge of network protocols, IP settings, DNS, and routing
•Organizational and Prioritization skills
•Excellent verbal and written communications Skills
•Experience in Microsoft systems, storage, and network design and development.
•Experience with systems & storage planning, general software management, and information processing best practices.
•Excellent software troubleshooting experience.
•Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information.
•Proven project planning and management experience.
•Knowledge of change management systems and applicable data retention practices and laws.
Preferred:
•Certifications in Information Technology related fields
•CommVault Backup Software Experience
•Knowledge of CMMC Security Requirements
•Experience with Riverbed Steelhead and Client Accelerator
