Title: Temp Office Admin Support

Reports to: Bakery Manager
Location: Somerset, PA

Pay: $20-$25 DOE

This role will be located in our cone facility in Somerset, PA.

The Operations Coordinator will provide support to the bakery facility operations team in the areas of Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and Operational activities. They will take ownership of key people activities that positively impact the employee culture in our bakeries, while developing valuable cross-functional expertise.

Human Resources

· Full hourly recruitment process coordination

· Post hourly job vacancies through Hirebridge and other local websites/community centers.

· Screen all applicants and schedule qualified candidates for interview.

· Set-up and verify successful completion of physical testing, drug tests and background checks.

Onboarding/Offboarding hourly new hires

· Assist new hires with completing the new hire forms in the orientation package. Set-up, assist in facilitating orientation, and coordinate subject matter experts to help facilitate. i.e. food safety, H&S, Meet and greet with Plant Manager.

· Assist setting up and providing employee number, punch in scanning details, security badges (fobs), lockers, uniform orders, etc. and take photo for Workday.

· Offboarding employees - collecting uniforms, key fobs, etc.

Payroll

· Assist the Bakery Manager in basic payroll support.

General Administration

· Ensure up to date materials, new hire packages, forms, etc. are readily available.

· Maintain employee personnel and medical files

· Maintain attendance records and review reports with Plant Manager.

· Maintains and processes FMLA, Unemployment, and Workers Compensation claims.

Office Facility Support

· Order office supplies for the facility. 

· Ensure visitors are welcomed and signed in.

· When there is no Receptionist, coordinate courier pick-ups, mail, etc. OR back-up Reception when needed.

· Open the mail, date stamp, and distribute.

· Update the communication board(s) with the latest up to date and relevant information, for example, period reports, injury trends, posted names of committees.

· Provide support to the Plant Manager and Production Team as required. i.e reports, presentations, letters, etc.

Events

· Coordinate product charity donations for local communities.

· Organize plant celebrations, lunches, parties, etc.

· Coordinate any luncheons for visitors and meetings at the bakery.

Qualifications

· 1-2 years administrative experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

· Very organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.

· Detail oriented and track record for accuracy.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).

· Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

· Intermediate computer skills. (i.e. word, excel, PowerPoint).

· Demonstrated ability to take initiative with a results and customer focused attitude.

· Ability to communicate to all employees at all levels with tact and friendly positive attitude.

· College or University Degree is an asset.
