Westlake Urgent Care NFP is looking for a nurse practitioner with prior experience in the field of Urgent Care. Your job will be to diagnose and treat patients, as well as promote good health practices. As an advanced practice registered nurse, you’ll be one of our providers for ensuring the best patient care possible. As a nurse practitioner, you’ll have to work closely with our paramedic technicians, so you should have a team spirit and a positive attitude. Patience, problem-solving skills, and communication ability are important.
Job duties include:

• Examine patients
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, x-rays, etc.)
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses
• Prescribe medications
• Maintain accurate records and charting
• Must be Department of Transportation Certified or willing to become certified
• Allergy Testing
• Weight Loss Treatments

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $65.00 per hour
