About the Role:
The Maintenance Technician will perform preventive and general maintenance on plant and production equipment, addressing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues. They will contribute to maintaining a clean and safe work environment, conducting safety audits, and overseeing contractor activities.
Key Skills:
1. Troubleshooting Abilities: Demonstrated capability to troubleshoot, update, and work on all equipment within the designated area.
2. Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in electrical codes, electricity, machine rebuilding, and mechanical expertise.
3. Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills for effective teamwork and coordination.
Key Requirements:
1. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in molding maintenance, including machine rebuilding and mechanical knowledge.
2. Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, PLCs, and PCs.
3. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 35 lbs., stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended periods, and maintain proper vision and alertness.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
