Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic, organized professional to assist in providing support within the overall operation of the Human Resources Department, providing support in the areas of employment, benefit administration, employee relations and training. Performs all basic administrative functions and provides administrative support. Responsible for ensuring an efficient operation in accordance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards. Spanish Bi-Lingual required.

Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College course work in related field helpful.
  • Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to type 55 wpm
  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Must work well in stressful high pressure situations.
  • Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
  • Must maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems as necessary.
  • Must have the ability to assimilate complex information data etc. from disparate sources and consider adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need.
  • Must be effective at listening to understanding clarifying and resolving the concerns and issues raised by associates.
  • Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Approach all encounters with employees in an attentive friendly courteous and service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel. Possible weekends and Holidays based on business demands.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include compliance with the Aimbridge Hospitality dress code and wearing name tag when working (per brand standards)
  • Comply at all times with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Be familiar with all Aimbridge Hospitality policies and house rules.
  • Complete all of the Executive office's general clerical needs efficiently and effectively.
  • Address and resolve all customer problems in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of all hotel operations.
  • Actively participate in all managerial meetings and record minutes.
  • Maintain guest incident reports and follow up on each to ensure appropriate action was taken.
  • Coordinate input from department heads for monthly compliance tracking.
  • Maintain a trace file on all pending events and items in the hotel; follow up daily with appropriate departments.
  • Maintain open positions through the company recruiting system. Screen applicants and determine best qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate new hire start dates and complete new hire onboarding.
  • Assist with New Hire Orientation.
  • Assist department with Spanish translation as needed for meeting and coaching and counseling.
  • Assist with benefit enrollment.
  • Be familiar with all company benefits and be able to assist employees with questions.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
