Wesley Medical Staffing, Inc. is Hiring an ER Registered Nurse Near Shiprock, NM
Location: Shiprock, New Mexico
Shifts and Contract Length: 12 hour shifts, Days/Nights, 7-7 or 12-12. 13 week minimum, ability to extend.
Start: January 2023
Currently looking for experienced Travel Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurses (RNs) to fill immediate contract openings in a New Mexico government healthcare facility located in Shiprock, NM. Interested candidates should have 1-year work experience in Emergency Room setting.
Responsibilities of the Travel Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN)
- Collect current symptoms, as well as a detailed patient history and then consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
- Performs triage, while considering both physical and psychosocial elements.
- Manages basic life support needs and stabilizes patients until the attending physician is available, based upon nursing standards and protocol.
- Record patients’ current vital signs.
- Obtain specimens for lab tests.
- Provide intervention in emergency, life-threatening situations.
Requirements of the Travel Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN)
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in any of the 50 states
- 1-year work experience required in Emergency Room setting
- Relevant certifications
- Willingness to travel to remote healthcare facilities
- Willingness to undergo a background check
