Wequassett Resort and Golf Club is Hiring a Front Office Manager Near Harwich, MA

Cape Cod's only double Forbes Five-Star resort is seeking a front office manager. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of guest reception, guest services and concierge and ensuring that the resort's goals and objectives, vision, mission, and values are attained. The front office manager plays a key role in providing a warm, genuine welcome and farewell to each guest creating a favorable and lasting impression of the experience.

The director of front office responsibilities include:

  • Leading by example to support the department and providing direct service to guests as needed
  • Creating, implementing, and executing departmental training, recruiting and pre-shifts
  • Managing team members including scheduling, payroll, and counseling
  • Overseeing the arrival and departure experience ensuring guest expectations are always exceeded
  • Reviewing daily financial and labor reports and adjusting the operation to achieve annual budget and forecasts
  • Supporting the resort's safety procedures and being always prepared for emergency situations
  • Implementing profit and flow-through enhancing strategies and programs
  • Ensuring all human resource and Forbes Five-Star standards are met daily

Candidates must have at least three years of hotel management experience preferably in a luxury environment. Strong skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required. Experience with Infor HMS, HotSos, Zingle, UKG and Alice are a plus. The role requires the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills are also required.
