The Role:

Wellvana is looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the strategy and oversite of the overall operations of the company to ensure objectives are being delivered with excellence. The COO will help guide and develop the team to help support our mission to improve the quality of life for every provider we partner with, and to help their patients lead healthier lives. 

What you’ll do:

• Be a critical member of the Executive Leadership Team
• Lead Wellvana’s Operations, Managed Care and Field Teams 
• Maintain an organization and communication system with the specific objective of enhanced operating efficiency
• Provide leadership to various teams across the organization including Care Management, Care Coordination, Coding, Market Operations, and Managed Care
• Create processes that are designed to ensure customer satisfaction; incorporating customer perspectives in all business activities 
• Measure performance, improve quality, increase productivity, and control costs of all company operations
• Oversee consistent execution of processes that enhance service quality 
• Create an environment in which team members are proud and committed to their team and role 
• Build strategic partnerships to collaboratively execute business strategies 
• Contribute to the development of Wellvana’s strategic goals and objectives, and lead execution against those goals and objectives

Requirements

 Who You Are:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field required 
• 5 years of experience as a CEO/CFO/COO, with an innovative high growth healthcare business
• Supports, and models the vision, mission, and values of the company
• Deep knowledge in healthcare space
• Ability to scale a company to keep up with growth and demand for services
• Clear and concise communication skills and passion for service
• Experience working on multiple priorities with quick turnaround
• Ability to operate under pressure with calm demeanor
• Ability to solve problems and get results
• Demonstrated ability to 'think on your feet' and solve problems
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of job responsibilities
