Senior Software Engineer

About this role:

Consumer Technology is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to be part of an Agile team modernizing the Auto Lending Servicing Capabilities.

In this role, you will:

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
• Responsible for delivery of new or updated capabilities as part of each sprint using modern technologies
• Participate in big room planning sessions, sprint planning and story refinement and other agile ceremonies
• Breakdown moderately complex technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation and mapping of current processes in order to rebuild via modern technologies
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Act as a mentor and provide guidance to less experienced developers

Required Qualifications:

• 4 years of Software Engineering or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
• 4 years of experience in .NET core 

Desired Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience with React
• 4 years experience creating Microservices
• Knowledge of C# .NET
• Experience in technologies such as Kafka, Mongo DB, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Azure, and Kubernetes
• Certification in Cloud Technology (e.g. AZ900)  
• Experience with Automation testing and Unit Testing

Job Expectations:

• Ability to work additional hours as needed
• Ability to work outside of regular business hours
• Position will require onsite presence at one of the required locations listed below in a hybrid work schedule
• This position in not eligible for Visa sponsorship

Pay Range:

• Raleigh, NC $84,000 - 149,000
