Senior Site Reliability Engineer

In this role, you will:

• Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
• Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design, and test solutions
• Contribute to the testing of business, application, and technical infrastructure requirements
• Drive solutions to reduce recovery
• Work with Principal Engineers and internal customers to develop robust and scalable solutions
• Work with Product Management to establish prioritization and provide on-going transparency into delivery pipeline
• Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations
• Design, code, test, debug, and document programs using Agile development practices
• Design complex system upgrades
• Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
• Develop a long-range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
• Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure success
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications, US:

• 7 years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 4 years of Agile experience
• Strong technical knowledge of API strategy and management on an enterprise scale
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
• Ability to define and develop observability into services
• 4 years of experience with infrastructure automation tools and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkin/Ansible/Puppet/Terraform)
• 4 years of experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker/Kubernetes/Scaffold)
• Familiarity with TOIL automation
• Ability to drive Automated Testing
• Ability to define and drive SLO/SLI’s

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge and understanding of public and private cloud integration with AWS, IAAS, Azure or Google
• Experience with chaos engineering
• Experience with automated DB deployment tools such as Liquibase
• Experience with ELK stack or equivalent

Salary : $133,300 - $237,100
