In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
- Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design, and test solutions
- Contribute to the testing of business, application, and technical infrastructure requirements
- Drive solutions to reduce recovery
- Work with Principal Engineers and internal customers to develop robust and scalable solutions
- Work with Product Management to establish prioritization and provide on-going transparency into delivery pipeline
- Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations
- Design, code, test, debug, and document programs using Agile development practices
- Design complex system upgrades
- Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
- Develop a long-range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
- Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure success
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications, US:
- 7 years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4 years of Agile experience
- Strong technical knowledge of API strategy and management on an enterprise scale
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Ability to define and develop observability into services
- 4 years of experience with infrastructure automation tools and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkin/Ansible/Puppet/Terraform)
- 4 years of experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker/Kubernetes/Scaffold)
- Familiarity with TOIL automation
- Ability to drive Automated Testing
- Ability to define and drive SLO/SLI’s
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge and understanding of public and private cloud integration with AWS, IAAS, Azure or Google
- Experience with chaos engineering
- Experience with automated DB deployment tools such as Liquibase
- Experience with ELK stack or equivalent
