• Assist in organizing and conducting all planned activities to assure the activities meet the needs of the residents assuring that all posted activities occur on time and as posted.
• Interacts with residents and assists activity department staff to promote activities, explains activities and programs to residents and families.
• Assists with making flyers and other announcements to assure all residents are informed of upcoming events and programs.
• Assist in coordinating social events and entertainment within the community.
• Distributes calendars and newsletters to residents and families.
• Reports any observations concerning residents, families or visitors to the Activities Director.
• Attends and participates in committees, training programs and staff meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Ability and Experience requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have criminal record clearance.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks.
• Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and most holidays.
• Must be able to operate a variety of audiovisual, craft, and recreational equipment and tools.
• Must be able to communicate professionally and appropriately with residents and their families or other guests.
Education Requirements
• High school diploma is preferred.
