WellBe has set out to change how medical care is delivered across the country. By providing home-based medical care to patients who need it most, WellBe is changing lives by delivering medical care, wherever our patients call home. We are a Physician led; Clinician driven care team focused on helping Medicare Advantage patients. This population is typically underserved and very challenged with access to care. To address these problems, we have elected to bring the care to the patient, instead of trying to bring the patient to the care. Our services are provided throughout the entire continuum of care – from chronic care and urgent care in the home, hospital, skilled nursing, assisted living, palliative, to end of life.
GENERAL SUMMARY
The Communications Specialist is vital here at WellBe Senior Medical. Having employees spread over multiple states means you would help connect all the dots and keep everyone informed with news and updates from both the corporate office and the field. In this role, you’ll help shape WellBe’s internal communications strategy, forming our messaging, along with supporting external communication needs. There will also be opportunities to create communication for leaders throughout the organization, exterior media, and for business development concerns. WellBe is a startup, making our communications the glue that binds our team together. Supervisory Responsibility: No supervisory responsibility.
Travel requirements: Travel may be required up to 10% as required
Work Conditions: Ability to lift up to 20lbs. Moving lifting or transferring of patients may involve lifting of up to 50lbs as well as assist with weights of more than 100lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to drive to patient locations (ie. home, hospital, SNF, etc). Fine motor skills/Visual acuity
