Weiss Asset Management (WAM) is seeking a Recruiting Director to join the People Operations team. As a financial firm, our main asset is our people and the People Operations team fills a critical role in attracting, motivating and developing exceptional people. The Recruiting Director will serve as a a strategic partner to leaders across the organization to design and implement solutions to staffing needs.

A successful candidate will be highly organized and analytical, eager to proactively improve processes, and capable of executing projects independently. They will also enjoy research and managing multiple stakeholders and projects, and will have strong verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate is motivated by the opportunity to shape a growing organization through talent acquisition. The Director will have opportunities to improve our recruiting processes and grow in relationship management and strategic thinking in organizational design.

Responsibilities:

• Work with team leaders to understand their objectives and staffing needs and propose solutions to any gaps
• Design and implement strategies to source and evaluate candidates
• Act as primary point of contact for new members of the organization
• Research best practices in people operations and actively seek to improve our current processes
