Position: Lawn Technician

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Reports To: Service Managers & Branch Operation Manager

Requirements

Lawn Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are NOT limited to:

• Serving a territory of residential and commercial customers

• Providing professional lawn care with a focus on excellent customer service

• Proper application techniques and compliance with ODA standards, rules, and regulations

• Completion of required paperwork

• Loading assigned vehicle

• Maintaining clean vehicle and equipment

Minimum Qualifications:

• No experience required, will train the right candidate

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

• Must be willing to work Monday through Friday, and some Saturdays

• Have a valid State of Ohio driver’s license with less than 4 points

• Be able to drive a truck/van and a pull-behind trailer

• Be willing to work in a variety of weather conditions

• Able to lift 50 lbs. or more comfortably

• Have basic computer knowledge

• Good communication skills

• High motivation to learn and succeed

• Must be dependable

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. This position is very physical. You may be required to lift 50 to 75 lbs. repeatedly during a shift. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions of their position. Performance of the duties for this position will require that the employee use riding or walking equipment to treat the customers’ lawns and around their homes. As a Residential Lawn Technician, you will be required to pay attention to your surroundings. All Weed Pro technicians do their best to NOT cause any damage or harm to a customer’s property. Because we work in an industry that routinely deals with Mother Nature, Residential Lawn Technicians must be willing to work in a variety of weather conditions.
