Responsibilities:

WebMD is looking for a senior-level product manager to help drive new product and feature development that supportsthe delivery of WebMD commercial products throughout the project life-cycle, ensuring a seamless process from requirements gathering through development and launch. The role encompasses the following duties:

  • Interpret user needs, client needs and performance metricsand translate them into a product vision
  • Identify KPIs that inform the success of products
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, UX/design and engineering to reach the best possible version of a feature or product to bring to market
  • Define product requirements and communicate them to engineering using business rationale, use cases, user stories, functional specifications, and wireframes
  • Work closely with QA on user acceptance testing

Requirements:

  • Min. 5 years of experience in a product management or product marketing role
  • The candidate must demonstrate experience in gathering and documenting product requirements for development teams including business rationale, user stories, and functional specifications.
  • The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and be a very strong and confident communicator able to converse easily among business, editorial, and development teams.
  • This resource needs to be located in the US, preferably in EST time-zone in order to 1) immediately respond to code-blue issues during EST business hours and 2) support the NY-based marketing team during EST business hours

Preferred:

  • Experience managing commercial products is a plus
  • Experience working with a consumer-facing publishing brand is a plus
  • Experience using Adobe Analytics (Omniture) or Google Analytic is preferred
Compensation:
$115,000 to $130,000
