Webcor has multiple openings in the greater Bay Area. During the application process, you will be asked to select location preferences.

What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Project Engineer, you’ll be responsible for promoting site and office safety, and assist the Project Management team with day to day activities and tasks. You will:

  • Track and perform jobsite safety meetings. Always promote safety.
  • Review field inspection reports and communicate deficiencies to your supervisor.
  • Responsible for record drawings, create and maintain document control logs to track documents
  • Review all trade specific RFI’s for potential, cost and/or schedule impact.
  • Assist the Project Manager and team members in the planning, coordination, and administration of assigned projects. This includes areas such as RFI’s, contracts, change orders, purchasing, scheduling, and progress reports.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and innovation in all you do.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Construction Management, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum two years’ work experience as a Project Engineer.
  • Advanced knowledge, understanding, and experience with document control and information flow of RFI’s, Submittals, Schedules, Daily Logs, Field Inspections, LEED documents, As-builts and Record Drawings.
  • Working knowledge of contract formats; draft, and issue change order(s) scope to subcontractors with oversight by APM or PM prior to issuance.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Bluebeam and MS Office products.
  • You love communicating! You are also a born leader and enjoy using creativity to solve problems.
  • You are authentic and are known for going above and beyond what is asked of you.
