WearLIVELY is Hiring a Full Stack Developer Near New York, NY

 ABOUT US:

LIVELY is inspired by what we believe makes women sexy today; smart, healthy, active and outgoing. We are delivering bras and undies that blur the aesthetic lines of lingerie, active, and swim, taking the best elements of high-style and comfort from each category. We are establishing an entirely new category and POV of lingerie, a movement that we call Leisurée.

THE ROLE:

  • A member of the LIVELY Technology team that works with the latest web standards in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js, Liquid. 
  • You’ll work in a truly collaborative environment with the Head of Technology to customize and maintain LIVELY’s Shopify Plus theme
  • Work cross functionally with the Planning and Marketing teams to ensure that LIVELY's website is up to date for current product launches
  • Analyzing traffic to inform website maintenance and the effectiveness of marketing strategies and site optimizations.
  • Reports to the Head of Technology

You're always up for a challenge and dont mind getting your hands dirty if it means getting us over the finish line for a launch. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with the Head of Tech to maintain and optimize LIVELY’s shopify theme. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. QAing new site features. 
  • Own Shopify admin management for creating products and collections, maintaining and updating site content such as the home page, custom landing pages, and navigation updates, and managing Shopify Apps. 
  • Using Google Analytics to analyze website traffic, optimize customer experience and minimize customer drop offs
  • Work with external vendors and internal teams to maintain current systems
  • Staying current on emerging ecommerce technologies. Continuously research, test and propose new Shopify apps or site features to improve revenue or efficiency based on data/metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Shopify development experience (HTML, CSS, Liquid)
  • 2 years of experience with a JavaScript Framework, preferably Vue
  • Comfortable using Visual Studio Code or a similar app
  • Experience using a Package Manager ( Webpack, Yarn, npm)
  • Strong understanding of various Ecommerce tools, such as Google Analytics, Klaviyo, Attentive, etc
  • Experience using Excel 
  • Process oriented, highly organized and able to multitask 
  • Passionate about LIVELY as a brand and our mission
  • MUST BE LOCATED IN THE U.S

Bonus Points:

  • Experience GitKraken, ActiveAdmin, GraphQL, Loop Returns a plus
  • Backend development (Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Sidekiq/Background workers, Redis Caching)
  • Created shopify apps (public or private) in the past
  • Wireframing / designing website features (UI/UX) in sketch / photoshop

The expected starting pay range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per year. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
