Wausau Supply Co. distributes building materials from the industry’s leading manufacturers to authorized retailers from New England to the western Rocky Mountains. Our territory continues to expand as we continuously strive to meet the demands of our customers with eighteen distribution centers and five fabrication and finishing facilities.

Responsibilities

Summary: The Business Systems Analyst will align technology with business strategies to help maximize productivity and communication. They will collaborate closely with individuals at all levels throughout the organization on training, user enablement, support requests, security administration, and requirements gathering related to Wausau Supply’s CRM, call center software, HCM, workflow, and automation platforms. As a member of the IT team, the Business Systems Analyst will work closely with other application analysts, vendor partners, and developers to design and implement technology solutions to meet business requirements.

Duties to include, (but not limited to):

• Provides guidance, technical subject matter expertise and best practices for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Genesys Call Center software, Microsoft Power Platform, UKG HCM and other ancillary business applications
• Ensure that project work for business systems is properly scoped and meets business objectives with a high degree of quality
• Analyze existing processes and systems to identify opportunities for optimization and automation
• Maintain end user training materials for major applications and partners with power user community for any required revisions
• Ensures that Business Systems are properly supported and that all Level 2 support tickets are resolved
• Translate highly technical specifications into clear non-technical requirements
• Define and coordinate the execution of Business System testing procedures
• Provide occasional after-hours support on an as-needed basis
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

A Business Systems Analyst will possess and/or demonstrate the ability to:

• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
• Create detailed requirement documentation for enhancement requests
• Independently manage time, prioritize work, and meet deadlines

Education / Experience:

• Associates or bachelor’s degree
• 2 years of related experience
• Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience with process documentation and requirements gathering
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Apps and Power Automate
• Strong understanding of business operations, system integrations, databases, and SDLC
• Experience with UKG, Microsoft PowerBi, software development, and Genesys call center software is a plus, but not required
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

Working Demands / Physical Requirements:

• General office conditions with continuous sitting with heavy computer usage
• Make observations in a live production and distribution environment
• Occasional short-term out-of-town travel for projects or educational purposes
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
