Watts Regulator Co is Hiring a Risk Management Analyst Near No. Andover, MA

The Risk Management Analyst supports the Legal Department by running reports (ad hoc & monthly), analyzing data and ensuring data integrity. The analyst is also tasked with establishing a budget for the department to track expenses for Litigation, Employment, Intellectual Property, Insurance, and Global Trade compliance. The Analyst will work with Finance to maintain a monthly accrual and present quarterly budget results to key stakeholders including departmental Directors, Counsels, and related Finance officers. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Run monthly reports and analyze trends and drivers. (Product Liability Report): New Claims Closed Claims Monthly expenses and Loss Payments (YTD comparisons based on a rolling year) Track performance against Actuarial expectations Analyze product trends on monthly, YTD, and Prior Year YTD basis (Worker’s Compensation Report): Track New, Closed, and Open claims by locations Track Return to Work to Analyze incurred changes of key payments made on open claims Work with EHS Department to expand key WC data reporting as necessary Process Monthly Invoices: Insurance Premiums and brokerage fees Third Party Administrator (TPA): Maintain a record of expense payments made to outside counsel and other related vendors Post financial transaction details in Risk Management system Process check requests as requested Legal: Manage departmental Purchase Orders and work with Accounts Payable to match receipts in financial reporting system Process Legal invoices against monthly accruals for fiscal month end reporting to Finance Process and code invoices to the appropriate account(s) Legal Budget Build the yearly Legal budget determined by vendor estimates and at the discretion of departmental stakeholders. Work with Finance to ensure Budget expenses coincide with financial reporting systems’. Present the Legal budget on a quarterly basis to determine forecasting and rest of year outlook. Audit Third Party Administrator (TPA) claim system for data quality Attend Quarterly Actuary Calls Certificates of Insurance (COI) Log COIs sent to Watts from its suppliers Process and forward COI requests for Watts and its subsidiaries Respond to subrogation notices from insurance carriers and send to Third Party Administrator for claim set up. Aid in Asbestos litigation by tracking records of sale for shipment requests from outside counsel on a monthly basis. Quarterly claim reviews for Insurer Work with the Technical Advisor to organize, scrap, and categorize products held in office based on claim status and statute of limitations. Manage special projects as necessary. EDUCATION: Associate's degree in any discipline MANAGEMENT: This position has no direct reports. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s Degree in Finance or Accounting Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to pulling, sorting and analyzing data Familiar with invoicing Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals A certain degree of creativity and latitude Proficient in Microsoft Office, EXCEL, pivot tables, and ACCESS *PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing duties of the job, employee is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear Employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus *WORK ENVIRONMENT: Office environment *As required by the Americans Disabilities Act (ADA) Watts is committed to equal employment opportunity.
