Position Summary:
A Surgical Tech will assist surgeons during operative procedures, cesarean sections and other procedures. They will ensure the operative suite is adequately prepared for procedure, monitor PAR levels of all surgical instruments, and supplies as well as prepare for sterilization all surgical instruments.
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Other: Training commensurate with Surgical Technologist certification is required
Required Certification:
BLS is required within 90 days of hire
Certified in Surgical Technology or eligible to take Surgical Technology Certification Exam is desired
