Waterford.org's Implementation Specialists positively impact early literacy learning of pre-kindergarten through 2nd grade age children by providing consistent, ongoing support to families, instructional leaders, teachers, and administrators as their school district implements Waterford Reading Academy. Our Implementation Specialists use their deep subject matter expertise in early education to support onsite and virtual training. They also support Family Academy, which strives to empower families to be a child's first teacher by educating them about foundational literacy, math, and social-emotional concepts.
This is a temporary position that we anticipate will last one year from date of hire. In the event that Waterford.org is awarded the South Carolina Innovations grant again the temporary employment opportunity could be extended. There is also the possibility of transitioning to a regular status position if one becomes available.

Waterford.org team members are located across the United States and primarily work from home. The pay range for this temporary, full-time position is $68,400 to $75,000 annually. An exact salary will be determined based on compensation benchmarking data combined with the education, experience, and skill level of the individual we hire. We offer a phenomenal benefits package that includes fully paid primary premiums for health insurance, dental insurance, basic life insurance, and disability insurance. New hires receive a one-time HSA contribution. Retirement contributions are matched dollar-for-dollar up to 5% by the organization. Currently, Waterford requires all new hires to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or file a religious or medical exemption (as applicable by federal, state, and local law).
