We Are Currently Looking For aWater Country- Event and Group Sales Assistant Roles & ResponsibilitiesJOB SUMMARY The Sales and Communications Assistant will play an important role in the group sales and community communications process. This role will assist with group sales including identifying potential customers, follow-up with interested leads, create sales contracts, confirm visitation information and close sales. Additionally, this role will assist the marketing team with communication tasks such as answering phones, responding to guest emails, responding to online reviews, and coordinating donations. Key Duties And Responsibilities
Assist with managing phone inquiries and reservations
Input group reservations into park system
Count and prepare tickets for groups
Assist with event preparation, execution, and clean-up
Perform data entry and various other office duties
Reconcile booth transactions daily with Accounting Department
Provide exceptional guest service for guests visiting the park or inquiring online
Respond to guest service matters in person and online, including online review sites such as Google, Yelp, Trip Advisor, etc.; serve as a brand ambassador to partners, media and guests
Review and process community donation requests
Various marketing, sales, and office duties as assigned
Skills / Qualifications / Requirements
Positive viewpoint and ability to make sound decisions in stressful situations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional phone etiquette is required for answering incoming guest phone calls and returning unanswered voice messages
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting
Ability to work weekends, workdays, evenings, holidays, and extended hours as needed
Experience in customer service and events a plus
Ability to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position items and boxes weighing up to 25 pounds
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying climates
