WatchBox Global is Hiring an UX Designer Near Remote, PA

WATCHBOX, a global leader in the luxury watch market, is looking to hire a creative, inquisitive, and accomplished UX Designer to oversee the customer experience for our native apps. As the App UX Designer, you’ll partner with stakeholders and other members of the team, including Product, Marketing, Engineers, and leadership to maximize the value driven from our apps. We’re looking for an enthusiastic problem solver and strategic thinker who has demonstrable experience designing and building great products.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Design experiences that are intuitive, simple, and solve customer needs
  • Develop user flows, wireframes, high fidelity mockups, and prototypes to communicate user flow and interactions
  • Collaborate with our Web UX Designer to ensure consistency across surfaces
  • Work closely and collaboratively with our in-house creative team to evolve our design language and maintain a cohesive design library
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end app design process from brainstorming to implementation
  • Present, communicate, and defend designs using data (both qualitative and quantitative)
  • QA designs and demonstrate a sharp eye for detail as you help bring designs to life

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience with a focus on mobile native apps
  • Solid understanding of all relevant methodologies including persona creation, consumer journey mapping, competitive audits, stakeholder/user interviews, wireframes, usability testing, etc.
  • History of collaborating with multidisciplinary teams 
  • Highly proficient in Figma, and After Effects, or similar tools
  • Understanding of React Native that informs design and interaction decisions
  • A strong understanding of technical constraints and limitations in designing for mobile
  • A portfolio showcasing your amazing work
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit, as well as a desire to work on a small and ambitious team
  • Experience designing for luxury ecommerce
  • Experience communicating strategic vision of new designs to leadership teams
  • Experience working in a high-growth organization
