WasteXperts, an on-site Waste and Recycling Facilitator is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team in San Jose, CA!

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

•  Prospecting – Drop In’s, Phone Calls and Emails.
• In person cold calling to determine the largest and ideal opportunities for new business.
• In person property inspections to determine and document with pictures current trash set up and flow.
•  Presentations of proposals to clients in person, as webinars, or through phone calls.
• Working with Property Managers and leveraging to get additional clients within that Property Management company.

Must Have:

• 2 years of supervising/managing in a dynamic, people driven environment
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple priorities
• Intermediate skills in MS Office and related business systems preferred
• Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships and execute the client’s equipment needs.
• Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders.
• Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes, and operations, and remain up to date on industry news.
• Ability to travel within assigned territory or as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in transportation/trucking/logistics
• 2 years of supervising/managing in a dynamic, people driven environment
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills

• Intermediate skills in MS Office and related business systems preferred
• Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships and execute the client’s equipment needs.
