PURPOSE: Waste Eliminator's FP&A Analyst is responsible for gathering and reporting internal and external financial and statistical data for line of business and companywide analysis; evaluating the data to identify issues regarding companywide and line of business performance, as well as special assignments.

COMPENSATION: Salaried position $80,000

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produce timely and accurate financial and operational reporting and analysis that provides actionable insights to the business.
• Support the financial planning and forecast process including and reporting outputs.
• Manage data across multiple platforms to develop KPI’s and dashboards with actionable information.
• Work with P&L managers to create robust project profitability reporting and metrics.
• Assist VP - Finance in investment evaluation analysis and work closely with the leadership team to recommend decisions.
• Support the creation of monthly financial reporting package development and communication to business teams and executive leadership.
• Research and analyze performance variances against budget and forecast and provide explanations.
• Support VP – Finance to facilitate monthly meetings with executive management to review financial results and variances to budget, forecast, and prior year (margins, spend, etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, management, or a related field required.
• Graduate Degree, MBA, CMA and/or CPA designation preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ finance and/or accounting experience in financial services, heavy industry or commercial services.
• Experience in a private equity ownership environment is preferred, but not required.
• M&A valuation modeling, diligence and integration experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience driving business performance and process improvements.
• Advanced MS Excel and business intelligence tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a high-volume transaction business.
• Sense of urgency mindset; takes necessary initiative.
• Ability to prioritize work in an effective manner meeting the needs of stakeholders.
• Winning and collaborative disposition.
