Waste Connections is Hiring an Equipment Operator Near Clarkson, NE

Coalition Landfill, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety conscience Heavy Equipment Operator to join our GROWING team in Clarkson, Nebraska.


PAY:

$18-$20 per hour.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
:
  • Spreading and compacting trash using a compactor
  • Spreading daily cover using a Dozer
  • Excavating soil using a excavator
  • Maintaining haul roads using a grader
  • Hauling soil
  • Work in a fast paced, team environment
  • Follow safe operating practices
  • Learn and use interpersonal skills relating to good customer service

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

  • Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 60 pounds.
  • The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid drivers license.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
  • 2 years of experience preferred.
