What we do
The WBD Growth team is a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, ML engineers, applied data scientists and software engineers that focuses on reducing churn, increasing engaged watch time and increasing subscriber base.
What you’ll do
Research, design, experiment with and build high-impact machine learning systems for consumer facing products in companies Growth team
Contribute and drive the design of scalable ML solutions in production
Coordinate the work of multiple applied scientists and machine learning engineers providing research guidance and mentorship
Promote and role-model best practices of data science, engineering, and communication throughout the organization
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior Applied Data Scientists in the team
Strong experience in exploring and navigating existing ML research and applying it to solve industry problems
Contributing back to research community by writing/publishing blogs, articles or papers in respected scientific conferences
What you’ll need
M.S or B.S.in a Computer Science/Statistics/Data Science/Quant or related field
5 years of experience applying Machine Learning techniques to solve real world industry problems
Deep understanding of traditional and deep learning based ML methodologies
Expertise with ML-frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Vowpal Wabbit, scikit-learn etc
Production experience implementing machine learning pipelines and models at scale in Python, Scala, or similar languages
Knowledge in one or more of the areas such as Causal Machine Learning, Interpretable ML, Counterfactual Learning, Multi Arm Bandits, Reinforcement Learning and Constrained Optimization
Demonstrated ability to lead technical decisions and teams, including mentoring scientists and coordinating with Product and Engineering partners
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively advocate technical solutions to scientists, engineers, and product audiences
Passion for data-driven research, development, and experimentation
Self-motivated, growth-oriented, and driven to pursue solutions to challenging problems
Prior experience applying machine learning in Finance/Commerce, Economics, Marketing Science, Consumer Science would be a plus

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $189,700.00 - $352,300.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
