A little bit about our team: WMX Creative Services is a global full-service merchandise art department that offers creative direction and support for WMG licensed artists and labels. We strive to enhance all areas of the business by providing concepts and expertise in design, visualization, and content to continuously match the evolution of the industry. Your role: The Graphic Designer is responsible for the conceptualization and design of music merchandise related art. This position reports into the Merchandise Art Director and will be responsible for the execution of all in-house design needs. They will work closely with the Project Manager and Art Coordinator to meet all project needs and deadlines. This includes but is not limited to apparel graphics, packaging, web assets, presentation layout/design, logo placement and mockups. Here you’ll get to: You will conceptualize, design and present artwork and packaging to management, merchandise product managers, department head and other business units You will collaborate with vendors on custom development and art requirements for specialized products and product lines You will establish strong working relationships with WMG creative departments to secure artist assets You will prepare and collect files for output to commercial printers, vendors and/or other 3rd party business associates You will traffic projects through approvals, production and distribution You will work with production team to assure design integrity, content accuracy and quality control throughout production You will develop and maintain an organized, searchable and easily accessible archive for all artwork and supporting elements About you: You have proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office You have strong design skills You enjoy adapting quickly to changing priorities and responsibilities and prioritize and handle multiple projects You have the ability to communicate information clearly (verbally and/or written), and cooperate and collaborate with others to achieve identified goals You will maintain a high level of accuracy, consistently reviewing work to accomplish tasks with follow through to completion You are flexible, reliable, and have the willingness to work until the job is complete We’d love it if you also had: Bachelor of Arts with concentration in graphic design preferred Masters Degree in Design or related concentration preferred 3 years graphic design experience About us: As the home to Asylum, Atlantic, East West, Elektra, FFRR, Fueled by Ramen, Nonesuch, Parlophone, Rhino, Roadrunner, Sire, Warner Records, Warner Classics, and several other of the world’s premier recording labels, Warner Music Group champions emerging artists and global superstars alike. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
