WARGAMING is Hiring a Research Coordinator Near Austin, TX
Job Description:
Wargaming is looking for a Research Coordinator for our growing Center for Player Insights. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating research projects for our live service games, as well as in-development titles.
Working closely with game teams, researchers, and vendors, you will be able to directly influence the development of our products.
Your involvement will be crucial in advancing the processes and tools related to planning, recruiting, and running research projects.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with game development teams to identify research needs and provide recommendations on vendors and research methodologies.
Develop research plans and timelines according to project requirements.
Be the primary point of contact for research vendors and ensure projects with vendors are executed flawlessly.
Maintaining and upkeeping the playtesting lab in Austin, TX, and working together with researchers to run playtests.
Manage the recruitment for internal research projects and continually improve it to ensure a smooth process for the team and participants.
Ensure compliance with research protocols and legal regulations and recommend new approaches to improve research processes and outcomes.
Job Requirements:
Experience with end-to-end research (either in-house or in an external agency).
Understanding the applicability of various research methods (quantitative and qualitative) for different business needs.
Experience working with vendors (gathering requirements, writing a brief, researching and selecting vendors, managing proposals and contracts).
Ability to foster and maintain relationships across the company and vendors.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Passion for games and game user experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Readiness to travel within the US to meet with/review vendors in their locations.
Additional Skills:
Good command of UX Research
Understanding of the game development process
Experience playing Wargaming Titles
