Walthall Oil Co is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Macon, GA
Walthall Oil Company has been in the fuel and oil industry for over 70 years. We have served our community with excellence and a strong sense of a competitive edge.
We are currently looking for a full-time employee as a Maintenance Technician to work in our tank shop located in Macon. A maintenance technician is responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures.
The specific job duties of a tank shop maintenance technician include but are not limited to the following:
. General maintenance at our plant facilities when needed
. Tank cleaning using pressure washier, vac-tron, tank painting, tank building and tank testing
. Pickup parts from vendors and deliver to customers
. Warehouse forklift operations
. Telehandler operations
. Boom lift operations
. Tank wagon repairs (small items such as nozzles and etc...)
Requirements:
. Valid Driver's License
. Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and lift up to 40 pounds
. Ability to drive a forklift
. Ability to communicate well with co-workers and customers
. Pass Pre-employment and Random Drug Screening Tests
