Job Summary
The Walnut Creek School District is in search of an elementary school counselor for the 2024-25 school year. This position rovide assistance to students, parents, teachers and administrators to support student social and emotional needs. Meet with students individually and in small groups. Serves on Student Study, Individual Educational Program, and MTSS Teams. Collect, analyze, and communicate student data. Identify, provide assistance, track and monitor progress of at-risk students and groups. Meets regularly with Wellness Coordinator and Wellness Paraprofessionals.
Requirements / Qualifications
Valid California Pupil Personnel School Counseling credential or equivalent credential authorizing the counseling services of elementary school students.

• Letter of Introduction (Letter of Interest / Cover Letter)
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (Minimum of Two (2) Letters of Recommendation)
• Resume
