The Recruiting Associate would be based out of the Cuba Support Center. The Recruiter is responsible for recruiting activities for our divisions. This position is entry-level.This candidate will establish systems, processes, procedures and provide materials to support the efforts of our hiring managers in building a pipeline of qualified candidates and maintain a database of qualified candidates for future placement. In addition, the Recruiter will develop strategic relationships with recruiting sites, professional recruiters and venues that provide a forum to source potential candidates (i.e., career fairs, college fairs, etc.). This candidate will communicate information on open positions to appropriate departments and management as well as ensuring all paperwork conforms to company policies as it pertains to compliance practices. RESPONSIBILITIES BY COMPETENCY: (*denotes anessential function of the position) Business Results Orientation Responsible for driving staffing strategy and building candidate and hiring manager relationships.Partner with leadership to determine program staffing needs, produce forecasts, and develop and implement a program recruiting strategy to hire right talent to meet talent goals.Maintain hiring resources/materials to facilitate the interview process for hiring managers.Create and implement staffing processes and business strategies to achieve an annual hiring plan that emphasizes quality and speed of hires.Oversee and manage the job description process and its timely completion.Facilitate innovative sourcing strategies and implement recruiting programs and practices that will expedite the candidate pipeline process and quickly deliver top talent to the program.Partner with hiring managers to create and implement new and effective sourcing strategies for finding candidates through both traditional and non-traditional methods.Work with the team to produce staffing reports and analyses to identify trends and recommend improvements for recruiting effectiveness.Manage and continuously improve resource management processes and functions. Coordinate any assessments required as part of the interview process.Maintain regular attendance and follow designated safety practice. Perform other duties not listed as required. CommunicationCreate and ensure that communications are provided to hiring managers on a timely basis Maintain the turnover log and communicate to key leaders as requiredDevelop communication pieces with support from the Marketing Coordinator. Update content on all company websites as needed with support from the Marketing CoordinatorEstablish relationships with professional recruiters, hiring agencies and other staffing solution partners.Manage and post all openings on traditional websites as well as other social media outlets such as LinkedIn, Indeed, etc. Own relationships with recruiting sites and professional recruiters. Customer Service OrientationPromptly respond to all customer inquiries and follows up in a timely manner on all requests related to recruiting. Promptly respond to all customer requests and/or concerns Ensure that all internal customers have access to key pieces of information related torecruiting efforts. Complete site and/or customer visits as required. Developing TalentDevelop oneself in becoming knowledgeable about recruiting and networking opportunities that yield candidates. Assist the divisions with clear descriptions of candidates, strengths, and opportunities for coaching. Complete safety training as required. Technical ExpertiseAbility to post openings on key sites for the most visibility and success in sourcing acandidate. Adhere to all Wallis Companies safety policies and report all safety incidents to supervisor immediately. QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essentialduty satisfactorily.
