WalkerHealthcare is Hiring a Director of Talent Acquisition Near Burlington, MA

WalkerHealthcareIT is seeking an experienced Director of Talent Acquisition to be responsible for full life cycle recruiting of full-time permanent job openings within our fast-growing organization. The ideal candidate should be self-driven, bringing a sense of professionalism and integrity to the team to evaluate candidates for their performance, future potential, and cultural contribution.

The Director of Talent Acquisition will partner with Hiring Managers and HR business partners to identify and implement effective recruitment strategies with a strong focus on sourcing passive candidates through networking, cold calling, complex internet searches and research.

In addition, they will ensure a positive candidate experience with frequent communication throughout the process, including the sharing of feedback after hiring decisions have been made. They will act as a true business partner for all things related to talent, recruiting, and hiring.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Use various cost-effective sourcing strategies, such as internet job boards, networking, resume mining, social networking, cold calling to attract a diverse pipeline of candidates.
  • Prescreen all applicable candidates, then recommend candidates to hiring manager based on detailed requirements of position and competencies; provide manager with reasoning for advancing candidate.
  • Ensure recruitment activity is updated in an accurate, compliant, and timely manner within the applicant tracking system.
  • Create offers, review and participate in negotiation and re-negotiation of salaries in coordination with offer.
  • Assist HR department with onboarding activities to include references, new hire paperwork, backgrounds check, I9, payroll forms and drug test.
  • Track, report and support future staffing initiatives.
  • Proactively work with hiring manager and human resources business partner regarding future organizational structure.
  • Proactive partnership with HR business partners when an employee or hiring manager issue is identified.
  • Continued recommendation for improving full life cycle recruiting strategies.
  • Assist with various projects as assigned by a direct manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree desirable. Degree should be in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or similar domain.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience, preferably a combination of agency and corporate recruiting.
  • Experience recruiting for a wide range of business functions and talent communities with a current focus on “hard to fill” complex positions.
  • Has executed effectively within a corporate talent acquisition/recruiting function for multi-location organizations.
  • Is highly proficient at leveraging multiple effective sourcing methods, strategies and resources (such as LinkedIn), and goes beyond the typical channels, when necessary, in order to find the best talent.
  • Skilled at developing strong relationships with hiring managers, HR business partners, and other internal customers on all areas of the recruiting life cycle.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Has strong working knowledge of EEO, AA, and OFCCP compliance.
