What you'll do... Position: Senior Data Scientist Job Location: 221 River Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030 Duties: Performs hands-on coding to retrieve and analyze large datasets using SQL and Python/R. Integrates disparate data sources and leverage state-of-the-art analytics best practices to deliver integrated actionable insights to partners and stakeholders. Contributes with building measurement and analytics tools and platforms that reflect the best and most appropriate solutions available. Streamlines data extraction process. Builds, tunes and manages machine learning models for explanation or prediction applications. Assesses the potential usefulness, validity, and rigor of new data sources. Works with cross-functional teams to ensure that the quality of the data are of the highest standard. Conducts written and verbal presentations to share statistical models and insights to audiences of varying levels of technical sophistication. Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 1 year of experience in an analytics related field; OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 3 years of experience in an analytics related field. Skills required: Experience coding in an object-oriented programming language Python and R. Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining data ETL pipelines. Experience in cloud computing services including GCP, AWS, and Azure. Experience with relational database capabilities and professional coding experience with SQL. Experience with supervised and unsupervised predictive modeling algorithms, advertising targeting and measurement, and digital marketing analytics including marketing-mix-models and multi-touch-attribution models. Experience with tuning predictive models for better stable performance. Experience in hypothesis testing, descriptive analytics, causal inferencing and regression analysis. Experience designing and building dashboards and interactive graphics through data visualization tools including Tableau and Shiny. Experience with big data technologies Hive and Spark. Experience with optimization techniques and what-if scenario analysis. Experience with advertising technology platforms including Ad servers, DSPs, DMPs and web analytics. Experience with creating and presenting actionable insights to internal and external project stakeholders. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
