Opportunity Summary:

The Diesel Technician is responsible for accurately troubleshooting, repairing, and diagnosing both routine maintenance and emergency services while making repair recommendations to customers. This position will work with other diesel technicians to ensure all work scheduled is performed safely and to the customer's satisfaction. Salary range is determined by experience with base salary and incentive pay up to $100,000 annually.

Job Duties:

  • Perform quality repairs and maintenance on Diesel Engines/ Heavy Duty Trucks as specified in manufacturer designed procedures
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork (e.g., repair information on work orders, information for state and emission inspections) in a timely manner.
  • Diagnose failure of vehicles by disassembling, repairing, reassembling parts
  • Dedication and adherence to all Company and industry safety standards
  • Inspecting vital parts to ensure they are in proper operating conditions
  • Create job repair plan based on diagnosis.

Work Experience & Qualifications:

  • 3 Years of diesel repair and maintenance experience in a heavy truck/ fleet dealership or shop environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of multiple systems (e.g., A/C, brake, emission, air), diagnostics and troubling shooting diesel engines
  • Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
