As an Inventory Control Clerk you will oversee all matters relating to inventory control, check quality of designated product, take daily inventory of product. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.

Responsibilities
- Check in Delivery Drivers, inspect returned trailers, verify returned goods, damaged products, and re-enter goods into inventory.
- The Inventory Control Clerk will oversee all matters relating to inventory control, check quality of designated product, take daily inventory of product.
- Breakdown full cases of produce into smaller cases and keeping inventory up daily.
- Sorts through pallets of products and decide the quality of the products returned by customers.
Compiles and keeps records of quantity, type and value of material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
Counts material, property, equipment, merchandise or supplies and posts totals to inventory/ property records.
Verifies and records computations against physical count of inventory and adjusts errors in computation by counting or investigating and reports reasons for discrepancies.
Checking in Delivery Drivers, inspecting all returned trailers, verifies returned goods and damaged products and re-enters goods into inventory.
Resolves all matters relating to inventory control, checking quality of designated product, taking daily inventory on produce and product spoiled.
Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally by ensuring questions promptly.
Functions as a team member within the department and organization.
Performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Qualifications
- Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
- Previous Stand Up Lift Truck experience is a plus.
- Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry.
- Must pass post offer drug test.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of AS400 Mainframe is a plus.
