Job Purpose:

To maintain an accurate and orderly inventory of all products. To coordinate the shipping and receiving of parts in accordance with the purchase order and send to the appropriate location.

Essential Functions:

Maintain inventory:

• Organize and keep clean inventory and inventory locations
• Cycle counts
• Communicate reorder requirements and recommendations
• Control consumables and manufacturing supplies
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, manufacturers’ specifications, written, and verbal instructions.

Receive deliveries:

• Ensure receipt of proper parts
• Review for damaged items
• Enter parts received into ERP program

Prepare orders for shipment:

• Complete required paperwork
• Package shipment to ensure safe transport
• Transact shipment in ERP program and on shipping portal

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• At least 3 years of experience with Inventory Control.
• At least 2-3 years of experience with receiving and shipping.
• Prior mechanical / electrical assembly or construction experience highly preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Experience working with an ERP system and office software highly preferred.
• Ability to drive a forklift (or gain certification) required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc.)
• Ability to regularly lift 20-35 lbs, bend, and kneel.
• Must have astute reasoning skills.
