JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Front Desk Agent Dept: Operations

Reports To: Operations Manager 

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This position is responsible for greeting visitors, accepting deliveries and assisting guests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides a high level of customer service to all guests, assisting with arrivals and providing community information.
  • Ensures all office operations are executed and adhered to based upon Company policies and procedures.
  • Acts as a liaison between guests, owners, management and other departments to resolve issues, or, if necessary, escalate to the correct department.
  • Inspects property as needed.
  • Facilitates and assists housekeeping and independent contractors.
  • Receives and verifies supply deliveries.
  • Performs other duties which may be assigned by supervisor.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 2 years of front office administrative experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and days with some weekends and holidays required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL/ENVIRONMENTAL:

Physical Demands:

Activities: Sitting – 90% Walking/Standing – 10%

Lifting: Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.

Vision: Close work on computer screen.

Mental Demands: Problem solve, interpret and meet deadlines.

Environmental: Climate controlled office space.
