Overview
The Regional Outside Sales role requires profitable revenue generation and growth in a defined territory or sector. In addition, product knowledge from installation to product capability is required to effectively sell to and support our customers 24 hours a day when on call for after hours. Ensure that customers are satisfied with the deliverables as quoted.
Responsibilities
Services existing accounts you have opened, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on potential sales opportunities and other trade factors.
· Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
· Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of market in assigned area.
· Submits proposals and orders by utilizing CRM and established processes using pricing guide.
· Keeps management informed by submitting activity in CRM and establishing territory sales plans.
· Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, customers, etc.
· Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
· Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by working with operations team to ensure product knowledge; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
· Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales in CRM.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and increasing profitable revenue growth.
