Role Overview

• Position: Data & AI Director
• Focus: Drive AI and data science strategies to revolutionize storytelling and content monetization.

We are on the hunt for a Data & AI Director to spearhead our cutting-edge data science and AI initiatives, shaping the future of storytelling in the anime world! This is a pivotal role where you'll harness the power of AI to revolutionize how stories are created, experienced, and monetized on our innovative platform. If you’re a visionary leader with deep expertise in machine learning, AI technologies, and a passion for storytelling, this is your opportunity to drive groundbreaking advancements that will redefine fan engagement and creative expression on a global scale.

Tech Stack

• Technologies: Python, Stable Diffusion, ComfyUI, Next.js, Tailwind, Flutter, AWS, SQL, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Hasura.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of 12 data scientists and machine learning engineers while being hands on in the code daily.
• Strategy: Develop and execute the company’s data science & AI strategy.
• Development: Develop innovative and data-driven product features for content creation and user engagement through deep learning, diffusion models, and neural networks.
• Modeling: Utilize predictive modeling, machine learning, and other statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
• Analytics: Design and implement advanced data analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights from large, complex datasets and drive data-informed decision-making.
• Data Management: Oversee data pipelines and ensure high-quality data processing.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data insights into business strategies.
• Ethics: Champion responsible AI practices and ensure ethical application of AI technologies.
• Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and apply new methodologies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Scaling Growth: Play a crucial role in scaling the company through its continued rapid growth, optimizing AI and data science strategies to support and drive expansion. Ensure the infrastructure and systems are robust enough to handle increasing demands while maintaining high performance, reliability and scalability.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven senior leadership in data science, machine learning, or AI, preferably in tech or entertainment. The ideal candidate would have experience with image generation.
• Education: Master’s or Ph.D. and/or Research experience in relevant fields is nice to have.
• Skills: Proficiency in programming (Python, R, Java), AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and managing large teams and projects.
• Attributes: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; passion for storytelling and the creative arts.
• Passion: for storytelling, anime, and the creative arts is ideal.

Please note: VoyceMe is based in NYC. This role can be fully remote and based in the United States, Canada or Philippines with the caveat that you're willing to work EST hours and handle critical tasks as needed in Philippine Standard Time.
