We are proud to employ some of the most talented experts in the industry.Position Overview:Our New Albany, Ohio Plant is currently seeking qualified Equipment Maintenance Technicians to assure that all production machinery and equipment can maintain a continuous stable production to meet customer production schedules and quality requirements through preventive maintenance and repair. Duties and Responsibilities:Perform building, equipment and electrical troubleshooting and repairs in response to equipment errors or failures during productionTest all repairs and installations for functionalityImplement Preventative Maintenance MeasuresMaintain inventory of repair equipment and suppliesRespond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel, and follow safety protocolPerform other maintenance duties as requestedMechanical- troubleshooting/preventative maintenance with industrial processing, packaging, peripheral plant equipment.Machining/fabrication/welding-ability to fabricate small machine parts, guards, etcPneumatic-cylinders/valves/accumulators/compressorHydraulic- cylinders/valves/accumulators/etcSkills and Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial environmentStrong work ethic and ability to work effectively with minimal supervisionKnowledge of industrial mechanics, including gears, belts, bearings, couplings, and drive linesUnderstanding of pneumatic, and hydraulic cylinders, valves, and solenoidsKnowledge of basic welding, and fabricationAbility to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manualsAbility to perform tasks under varying conditions (i.e. cold or hot, humid conditions, noise)Graduates of industrial, and/or electrical technology programs preferredExperience in the meat or dairy manufacturing industry preferredExperience with boiler systems and PLC Motor Control preferred
