Voxelmaps is recruiting senior C developers to join a growing R&D team focused on lidar, 3D, and advanced geospatial data processing. This team of developers will work on Voxelmaps 3D/4D data processing platform and visualization tools. 

Candidates are required to have advanced C development skills, understanding of basic principles of GIS, familiarity with point cloud processing and geospatial data processing. Knowledge of OpenGL/ES will be a big advantage. 

Selected candidates will be involved in architecting and developing our next-generation 3D data processing engine.

Required Experience:

• 5 years of experience building commercial software in C/C 14/17
• Good understanding of Javascript/Typescript, REST, HTTP
• Strong Databases (SQLite, PostgreSQL, PostGIS, Redis)
• Strong Mathematical Background - base algorithms and data structures, linear algebra
• GPU Programming 
• Parallel Programming
• CMake
• Docker

Good to have:

• 3D Games or other 3D development
• OpenGL/ES
• LiDAR and Point Cloud Experience
• Experience with Voxels and Voxel Occupancy Grids
• Understanding of Sensor Fusion for Autonomous Systems
• Knowledge of GIS or spatial software
• Familiarity with Machine Learning, in particular semantic segmentation for 2D and 3D
• Familiarity with Visual Studio
• Familiarity with Ubuntu command line skills
• Familiarity with Nginx
• Familiarity with Git

This role can be a remote role and we will accept candidates from anywhere in the EU Region, UK and North America. We have office locations in Porto, Portugual, Austin, Texas, London, UK.
